Classes/Lessons

  • INDIVIDUAL LESSONS By Appointment
  • Individual fencing lessons are necessary for all age and skill levels, including beginner and Olympic fencers. One-on-one instruction is instrumental in the development of a student-athlete's game plan, and a challenging curriculum will keep students motivated.
  • ELEMENTARY SCHOOL YOUTH LEAGUE Wednesdays 4:30 - 6:00 PM
  • A continuing enrollment group accepting beginner and intermediate youth fencers, ages 6-10. The class exposes students to all aspects of the modern Olympic sport of fencing. Conditioning, flexibility, skill building and structured play are the core elements to a fun and challenging class.
  • MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH LEAGUE Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:30 - 6:00 PM
  • A continuing enrollment group accepting beginner and intermediate recreational fencers, ages 11—14. Fencers will practice and compete against area middle school students. Course objectives include conditioning and flexibility, sport-specific footwork and blade techniques, and introduction to competitive play.
  • BEGINNER'S GROUP Saturdays 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Open to beginner fencers of all ages. Fencers will learn the basics of the sport, with an emphasis on coordination, positioning and movement. The group setting allows for interactive games between similarly skilled beginner fencers. New fencers are instructed on the rules of play and basic skill sets needed to begin fencing on the first day.
