Fencers School of Connecticut
Summer Clinics offer a unique opportunity for fencers of all ages to immerse themselves in the sport of fencing. Summer Clinics consist of a wide variety of drills and practices designed to stimulate the fencer's coordination, positioning and movement. The group setting allows for interactive games between similarly skilled fencers in a fun and supportive environment. Our most passionate students have participated in the Summer Clinics in the past, and keep coming back for more.
New fencers are instructed on the rules of play and basic skill sets needed to begin fencing on the first day. Experienced fencers will work through the techniques and tactics necessary to be competitive in modern foil fencing. Advanced fencers will be challenged by our expert coaching staff and train alongside our nationally-ranked fencers.
Fencers have the option of participating in half-day, full-day or week-long training sessions. Complete fencing gear is provided for new students. Our climate-controlled facility ensures a comfortable atmosphere, with a one-hour lunch break at noon.
