There is strength in numbers, and open practice provides experienced fencers the occasion to compete with their peers.
Use the skills you are developing in lessons and classes in a safe and supervised setting. Spend time on the strip with other motivated fencers that will inspire you to work hard and build your game.
If you need to borrow equipment for Open Practice sessions, there is an additional $10 fee per day.
Open practice sessions are held Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
Fencers School of Connecticut
Individual lessons are one-on-one sessions with a coach designed specifically for each fencer. Develop your technique and discuss the tactics of fencing, as it relates to your level and goals.
Individual lessons are a must for beginner and elite fencers alike, and are the cornerstones to a life-long fencing journey.
Individual lessons can be scheduled by appointment weekdays and Saturdays.
Group classes offer a fun and challenging opportunity for fencers of all ages to learn the sport of fencing.
The group dynamic allows for interactive games between similarly skilled opponents. Fencers will work together through a series of exercises, drills and strategy intended to enhance their knowledge of the sport.
New fencers are instructed on the rules of play and basic skill sets needed to begin fencing on the very first day.
Full fencing and protective gear is provided for all of our group classes.
Take a look at our calendar to find a class that is right for you.
